VETERAN LED • ARIZONA ROOTED • PERSONAL SUPPORT
A CLEAR PATH.
YOUR NEXT STEP.
Your experience matters. We begin by listening, then work with you to identify practical steps toward your career and personal goals.
What to expect
Our approach starts with you.
Every veteran comes with a different background, different priorities, and different goals. Our process helps us understand what you need without assuming everyone follows the same path.
Start with a conversation
Book a time to speak with us. We will listen to your situation and what you hope to accomplish.
- Discuss your goals and experience
- Identify your immediate questions
- Talk through what kind of support may help
Identify your priorities
Together, we can narrow down the most useful next steps based on your interests, experience, and circumstances.
- Discuss possible career directions
- Identify barriers or missing information
- Choose where to focus first
Work on practical tools
Depending on your needs, we may help improve your resume, explain your military experience for civilian employers, or discuss career opportunities.
- Review or develop career materials
- Explore suitable job opportunities
- Prepare for the next stage of your search
Connect with resources
If you need support beyond career assistance, we can help you find organizations and information relevant to your situation.
- Discuss possible community resources
- Identify VA or Arizona contacts when relevant
- Clarify actions you can take next
Getting ready
What should you bring to your first meeting?
You do not need everything figured out before reaching out. A few details can help us make the most of our conversation, but you can still get started without a current resume.
- A brief description of your background and recent work
- A resume, even an old one, if you have it
- A few examples of the roles or fields that interest you
- Questions about benefits, training, or other resources
Our commitment
The way we work matters.
Our goal is to make asking for help feel straightforward and worthwhile.
We listen first.
Your background and circumstances shape the conversation. We do not begin with a fixed answer.
We keep it practical.
We focus on useful tools, clear information, and manageable actions instead of complicated promises.
Your goals guide the work.
You decide which opportunities and resources make sense for you. Our role is to help you explore them.
Questions we hear
A few things to know.
If you are unsure whether we can help, scheduling a conversation is a good place to start.
Is there a cost to work with VRNA?
No. VRNA provides its resume and career support services at no cost to veterans and their families.
Do I need to know which job I want?
No. We can start by discussing your experience, interests, and options, even if you are still considering your direction.
Can you help with questions outside employment?
We can help identify VA, Arizona, and community resources that may be relevant. We do not provide every service directly or make eligibility decisions for other organizations.
Does VRNA guarantee employment or benefits?
No. We offer career assistance, information, and referrals, but employers and other organizations make their own decisions. Results cannot be guaranteed.
Ready when you are
