Veteran-led · Arizona-focused
Governance & Transparency
Our commitment to responsible leadership, ethical community partnerships, and meaningful support for Arizona veterans and their families.
Our Purpose
Veteran Resource Network exists to help Arizona veterans and their families build greater stability in everyday life. We provide free, nonclinical employment guidance, résumé support, and connections to community resources. Employment is one way to move forward—not the only measure of a veteran's progress.
Leadership & Accountability
Veteran-led leadership
VRNA was founded by a veteran and currently operates with a one-director Board. The Board is responsible for organizational oversight, policy decisions, and stewardship of resources, in accordance with applicable law and governing documents.
Responsible organizational records
We maintain corporate governing documents, board actions, and related records. Documents subject to legally required public inspection are made available through the applicable process. We do not routinely publish internal signatures or board consents online.
Veteran-directed services
Our support is voluntary and centered on the veteran's goals. Receiving services does not require membership, a donation, or participation in organizational meetings.
Ethical partnerships
Referrals are based on the veteran's needs—not sponsorship arrangements or personal referral compensation. We seek to protect participant privacy and avoid conflicts of interest.
Veteran Participation & Community Voice
We are developing voluntary opportunities for veterans to connect with one another and share perspectives on the needs of Arizona's veteran community.
Veteran Advisory Council
Our goal is to offer monthly virtual opportunities for members to discuss community challenges, suggest improvements, and share feedback. Participation will be encouraged, never required; missing meetings will not by itself affect membership standing.
Veteran Peer Connection Program
Our planned voluntary peer connection program will encourage camaraderie, shared experiences, and lasting relationships. Participation and individual pairings will be optional and based on mutual consent. This is not a clinical or crisis-response service.
Governance Questions & Document Requests
Have a question about VRNA's governance, nonprofit status, or available organizational documents? Contact us at chris.sorenson@vrnarizona.com. Document requests are reviewed in accordance with applicable public-inspection and corporate-records requirements.
